STAY AWAY FROM IT. TWO BEDS BROKE WITHIN ONE YEAR AND A HALF

First bed arrived mid 2023 and within two days the slats started breaking, just from sitting closer to the edge of the bed. I though it could be my fault, even though I'm just 82kgs, but then another one broke. They replaced the slats, but then the middle piece of the bed frame that holds the slats in place SPLIT, close to bed frame, on the side where our feet rest. Emailed them, made it clear that I was not confident on the rest of the bed being in good condition as well and they ended up replacing it. Mind you that it took 3-4 months of wait to have the product delivered and it broke in two days. One year and a half later the NEW bed broke again, this time the screws of the outside piece that holds the slats in place just broke, not one, but several of them, and the mattress sank to the floor on that side of the bed. A 82kg person rolling to get out of the bed broke several screws in the middle. The description of this bed does not reflect the real experience I had with both of them. I would suggest staying away from this model or go somewhere else if you have two thousand dollars to spend on a bed. I have friends that are 120-150kgs that have IKEA beds for years and they are intact. B&C's bed on the other hand: "Acacia wood is a dense, durable, and sustainable hardwood that can withstand the elements." and " the aerodynamic look of the frame's beveled edge and tapered leg design make it a perfect combination of strength and style" but breaks under a 82kgs person sitting on it or rolling out of bed. This is our fourth bed from them and the other ones are in our Airbnb. One of them was bought at the same time as this one and the other in 2021. Both of them are still doing fine, this one on the other hand we already went through two of them and they both broke. Customer service response was as follow: "Hi You received the replacement bed a year and a half ago and it was received without any damages or defects. Please note you have passed our limited warranty replacement as written on our website. Unfortunately I cannot issue a refund at this time. Please see below our policy as stated on the website." After a couple beds, table and other small pieces of furniture this will definitely be the last time I'll be doing business with B&C since they clearly don't care about quality and their clientes, especially when one of their products is clearly having quality issues and they just don't care.

This bed frame was ordered and delivered seamlessly. I have had it for two years and still love it! The wood is solid and beautiful…exceeded my expectations. I ended up using a low box spring and am so happy with it. Based on the quality, this bed frame will last me for years! Thank you Bois et Cuir!
